Eucharist Adoration
First Fridays
noon-6 p.m.
St. Joan of Arc Church
Take some time alone with Jesus to recite your favorite prayers, read the bible, contemplate acts of faith, hope, charity, thanksgiving, reparation, pray a rosary or do whatever type of prayerful devotion that suits you before Our Lord. You can just sit and say nothing simply keeping Him company, just as you would with a dear friend. If you can take a one-hour shift, please sign up at the break of the pews or contact Joe Foster at josephaye77@yahoo.com. Any time spent in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament is worthwhile.
Bible Study on Exodus (11 weeks)
Call to Freedom by Dr. Timothy Gray
Wednesdays continuing April 11-May 16
7-9 p.m.
Parish Center Offices
Contact: Carmie Klein at klein4design@gmail.com or 691-8225
Our study of Sacred Scripture will look through the lens of Christ and the Church to show that, more than just seeking to free His people physically from the domination of Pharaoh, God desired to free His people from the far more dangerous grip of sin. Because of this, the Exodus story is not just Israel’s story, but our story as well; it tells us who God is and what He calls us to be.
