Brick Paver Sponsorship

Keep in mind that your family can be a permanent part of the school by sponsoring a brick paver for the school’s walkway to the playground. For only $50, your family can be a part of one of the happiest places your child spends his or her time! Space on the brick is limited to 20 characters per line (ex: Smiths love SJA!). Be creative — your brick can be in honor, memory or celebration of. Orders and money are due to the school office with checks payable to SJA (note: Bricks).

Volunteering in the ”Command Center” of our School

If you want to be as close to the beating heart of SJA as possible, we encourage you to volunteer in the school office. Where else do you get to see fellow parents and our teachers and students continuously coming and going?! There is a constant hum of work along with much laughter, the best conversations with the children and a great feeling of being a part of the school. Our Eileen Kaczmarek is looking for volunteers to help during the lunch hour (10:30 — 1:00). Gold star to you if you are able volunteer on a regular basis, but Ms. Eileen would give you a silver one if you were able to give any time at all! And remember, helping in the office does count as volunteer credit. Please contact Eileen directly (ekaczmarek@sjoa.org) if you can help out! Go Gold Stars!

Coffee with the Principal

Mark your calendar for the upcoming Coffee Klatches with Principal Mary Pat Sharpe. This is a great opportunity to come with questions, comments, and concerns or just be there with open ears, for good dialogue and to share hot coffee and morning treats with fellow parents.

This is yet another opportunity for parents to volunteer by providing a dozen of one item (coffee, juice, light breakfast snacks) for the meeting. Simply contact Lesley Bartone (lesley_bartone@att.net) with the item you will drop off the day before the coffee or the morning of, and be sure to sign your name in the volunteer book in the school office. It’s as easy as drinking a cup of coffee!

Mrs. Sharpe has arranged for a year of coffees at different times of the day so that times can work for all of our parents. Please put the upcoming Coffee with the Principal dates and times in your calendar and come share:
