Volunteers Needed!

French Market - Saturday Sept. 11, 2010 Noon-10pm
Have you always wondered what you could do to help at the French Market? Or are you a new parishioner and wonder what it’s all about? New or old, you can support the French Market! We need you and we can fit into your schedule. The week before the French Market there is a need for a number of people to help with the preparations. Food Preparation – Throughout the week, usually in the evenings, you can help chop, slice, mix, etc. all the ingredients for the great food that will be served. Facility Preparation—On Friday Sept.11th, during the day and in the evening, we need people to help set up the booths, tables, chairs, etc. This is a physical activity and will be good exercise. Saturday morning starts with putting the finishing decorating touches on the grounds and helping the artisans set up their booths. We need people to help us turn the grounds into a colorful festival! During the French Market, hundreds of volunteers are needed to: • Staff/stock the food booths • Sell raffle tickets and French Market merchandise Adopt an hour to bus tables and ensure that all the volunteers are hydrated  (great family activity) Stay for awhile after the festival closes at 10 pm and help take down the tables  and chairs and clean up. On Sunday, we need people to help with clean up and ensure that the grounds are back to normal for the school children on Monday. This is one of our greatest needs. If you could plan on helping before or after Mass for just an hour or two, it would be greatly appreciated! If you have questions about how you can help, please contact:
