What is student council?
Student Council is an organization that links students with the administration and staff to present feelings, opinion, and interests of the student body. It also functions to promote friendships amongst all students in the general spirit of friendliness and faith at our school. The clubs goal is to promote student and staff recognition, increase school spirit and unity, promote friendships amongst students, develop communication between students, administration and staff, participate in school and community service, develop leadership skills and improve Catholic Identity.
The student council is open to students in grades 4-8 for the school year. Each grade will elect 2 representatives. Students wishing to run for student council will need to complete the application and attend a meeting next week during lunch on the procedures for campaigning.
Once elections have been held, we will meet during lunch once a month and as needed. Other commitments will be outlined as the student council creates its mission and goals for the year
