This week it is our turn to provide volunteers for the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry located at 3001 E. 30th Street, Monday-Friday from 7:45 am-12:30 pm, and 10:30 am-2:00 pm. If you are unable to work a full shift, even a couple of hours is helpful. Shopping days (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) are the most critical need, but they also need help restocking on Mondays and Wednesdays. If you can help, sign up at svdpindy.org. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana supports over 1,280 young individuals aged 8 to 18 every year in Hamilton, Johnson, and Marion counties. They collaborate with parents/caregivers, volunteers, schools, and community donors to champion, inspire, and enhance the potential of each child under their care. With roughly 1,000 children on their waiting list, they are making a call to action for more Mentors! Mentors dedicate 4-6 hours per month for a duration of one year.
